PROVIDENCE—The Barrington High School Basketball team defeated Division III champion, Juanita Sanchez Charter School, 77-61, at Rhode Island College in the first round of the sixteen team State Basketball Tournament on Wednesday night. The Eagles move on to play Coventry in the quarterfinals on Sunday at Brown University. Barrington used their size on offense and defense to eliminate the smaller yet quicker Juanita Sanchez players. Eagles sophomore center Matt DeWolf lead all scorers with 34 points and was an absolute beast on the boards. Junior guard Corey Daugherty scored 17 points and Senior guard Matt Rota put in 13.
