A Barrington resident called police early Sunday morning, April 21, after being disturbed by a group of people who were staying at a Lorraine Street rental property.
The caller told police that a bus had just dropped off a group of people at the large home which overlooks Barrington Beach. According to the report, the group was comprised of Coast Guard officials who had just attended a function in a nearby town. The caller said the group was loud and disrupting the neighborhood.
Police responded to the scene and told the Coast Guard group to quiet down. There were no further complaints about the group.
