No one hurt in small, brief Bristol fire

Bristol Fire Fighters were dispatched to Broadcommon Road Thursday afternoon for a fire reportedly started by a chemical reaction.

When crews arrived on scene, however, the fire was already out, according to Batallion Chief Jim Vieira.

Chief Vieira said it appeared the small fire was ignited while someone was using an acetone based product to clean a piece of PVC pipe behind 120 Broadcommon Road.

Broadcommon Road is home to a variety of industrial businesses.

No one was injured.
