The 4th of July isn’t quite over on the East Bay yet.
After concerns over high winds spawned from Hurricane Arthur led city officials to twice postpone the East Providence Fourth of July fireworks display, the show is scheduled to go on at Pierce Memorial Stadium tonight.
The show, originally slated for July 3 then delayed to July 5, has now been rescheduled for Sunday evening, July 6, at 6 p.m. Food and beverage concessions will be available. Music performances by Crushed Velvet and Kicking Hole remain on the docket.
The event is free and open to the public.
