Mass Effect 3: EARTH DLC

The latest Mass Effect 3 DLC, EARTH, is available today bringing players to the battlefields of Earth. Three new multiplayer maps will be available (Firebase Rio, Vancouver, and London) giving players three distinct environments spanning the globe.

“The fighting is fiercest when it’s your home at stake!”

Along with the new maps, Six new human N7 classes are also available: Destroyer Soldier, Paladin Sentinel, Demolisher Engineer, Slayer Vanguard, Shadow Infiltrator, and Fury Adept. Each comes with new abilities and melee attacks. Demo videos of these new class show some pretty awesome new abilities sure to add a completely new dynamic to the game.

The EARTH DLC brings six new amazing classes each with their own new abilities and melee attacks.

EARTH also features a few new weapons, Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol, and Typhoon assault rifle, which compliments the new classes. Mass Effect 3: Earth also includes the new Platinum difficulty and a new mission. Platinum difficulty throughs other enemy types into the mix. Reapers could show up when battling Geth which makes you rethink your strategy.

Now this is one of those DLCs that I’ve been looking forward to. The new classes look amazing and I can’t wait to play as one of the Phantom-like characters.

Mass Effect 3: Earth is available now on for Xbox 360 and PC worldwide. PlayStation 3 owners will also be able to get it today in North American and July 18th in Europe.
