Maine earthquake felt in RI

News outlets are reporting that an earthquake that occurred in Maine at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday has been felt here in Rhode Island. The United States Geographical Survey said that the epicenter was three miles west of Hollis Center, Maine and was a magnitude 4.6.

The quake was felt in Vermont, New Hampshire, eastern Massachusetts and as far south as Rhode Island and Connecticut.

There have been no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
