Portsmouth_375_icon_wdate-3c-900pixPORTSMOUTH — There will still be soup and salad, but no heart on Sunday.

Due to expected cold temperatures and strong winds forecast for Sunday,  Feb. 17, the Portsmouth 375 Committee has decided to postpone until a later date a planned photograph of local residents forming a “human heart.”

The soup, salad and bread portion of the event, however, will go on as planned. It’s from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Barnabas Church Hall, 1697 East Main Road.

Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for children, free for kids under 2. The event benefits the Portsmouth 375th celebration and with each ticket purchased you’ll get a pass for free skating at the Portsmouth Abbey ice rink on Feb. 17 or March 3.

If you don’t have a ticket yet, act now; they’re available only until today (Friday, Feb. 15). No tickets will be sold at the door.

You can buy tickets at Invidia Salon & Spa, 1050 E Main Road; Portsmouth Multi-Purpose Senior Center, 110 Bristol Ferry Road; The Green Grocer, 934 East Main Road; Allen’s Wine and Spirits, 3001 East Main Road (#12); Custom House Coffee, 600 Clock Tower Square (off West Main Road).
