Six out of the eight candidates for Warren Town Council will face the public this Thursday, Oct. 18, in a forum held at Warren Town Hall.

The forum, sponsored by the Rhode Island Voter Coalition, starts at 6:30 p.m. and is the only chance for voters to see all the candidates in one place before the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 6. Scheduled to attend are Democrats Cathie Tattrie and David Frerichs, Independents Joseph Depasquale, Davison Bolster and Scott Lial, and Republican Chris Stanley. Two other Democrats, Brian Remy and Richard Silva, are also running for town council, but both said this week that they have prior commitments and most likely will not be attending.

Candidates will be given the opportunity to make a brief platform statement and then all of the questions will come from the audience, Town Hall-style.
