Barrington GOP news

Brendan Doherty is scheduled to be on hand for a meet and greet on Saturday morning, Oct. 27.

The Barrington Republican Town Committee has a number of upcoming events scheduled for October.

On Saturday, Oct. 13, the BRTC will have a booth setup at the Cicione Law Office parking lot during the Barrington Business Association’s Harvest Stroll. The parking lot is located directly across from town hall. Those looking to volunteer can do so by manning the booth or holding signs for a “Hank and Wave” anytime between noon and 4 p.m.

On Wednesday, Nov. 17, Republican candidates are expected to be on hand for a League of Women Voters Candidates Forum, which is being co-sponsored by East Bay Newspapers. The event runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at town hall.

On Sunday, Oct. 21, Grapes and Grains, on Bosworth Street, will be the site of a meet and greet/win tasting event with Republican candidates. The event’s special guest is U.S. Senate candidate Barry Hinckley. That event runs from 2 to 4 p.m.

On Saturday, Oct. 27, Bagels Etc… on County Road will host another meet and greet with Republican candidates. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and special guests include Mr. Hickley and U.S. House of Representatives candidate Brendan Doherty.
