As in past years, the Warren Conservation Commission and Dunkin Donuts will sponsor a town-wide cleanup throughout the day. Dozens of volunteers are needed to clean trash from town beaches, parks, roadsides and wooded areas. In return, they’ll get a sense of satisfaction, a “Thank You” from organizers and just as good, a free T-Shirt and food.
This year’s shirts were designed by Warren artist Richard Kaiser. To get yours, show up at the Pete Sepe Pavilion at 9 a.m., sign in, grab some coffee and pick up clean-up bags. From there, get your assignment (or specify where you’d like to clean) and head out. There will also be a hot dog roast at the pavilion at noon.
Don’t forget to wear appropriate clothing, like ratty jeans, heavy shirts and gloves. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
