The Joy Magliocco Music Scholarship is awarded to a student planning on majoring in music in college. It’s named after the active band student at Portsmouth who died in a fatal sledding accident in 1974.
The Raymond W. Ainsworth Scholarship, named after the retired former band director, goes to a band student. First preference is given to students who plan to major in music in college.
Another scholarship is awarded to a member of the chorus, with first preference given to students who plan to major in music in college.
