PORTSMOUTH — The flu vaccine remains available to Portsmouth’s CVS and Rite Aid pharmacies although it is running low.

A CVS spokeswoman said Tuesday morning that they are down top their last seven doses of the vaccine. Recorded messages at Rite Aid said that they have the vaccine — no indication was given as to how much remains.

Aquidneck Medical Associates has flu vaccine available but only for current patients.

The Portsmouth site of Visiting Nurse Services of Newport and Bristol Counties said it is having a flu clinic Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon and Friday from 11 a.m. to noon.
