Just read a Facebook posting from a buddy who is a city worker thanking the CM for shutting city hall down. Apparently our CM wasn’t aware that when city hall closes all workers who stay (police, fire, dpw) now get time and a half for the rest of the day. His posting was ‘sitting at DD earning time and a half, thank you CM’. This is why city hall hasn’t been closed in twenty years.
