EAST PROVIDENCE — The East Providence Department of Public Works has announced that due to the Christmas and New Years Day holidays all regular rubbish and recycling collections usually collected on Tuesday, Dec. 25, and Tuesday, Jan. 1, will be collected the Saturday before the holidays. Residents are asked to have all material at the curb by 6 a.m. Regular collection will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 8. For more information contact the Public Works office at 435.7710
