East Providence Police seek Williams in Riverside stabbing case

EAST PROVIDENCE — The East Providence Police are seeking Jasper Williams in regards to his possible involvement in the stabbing of two Riverside brothers during an incident in the wee hours of Sunday, Nov. 25.

The 20-year-old Williams is considered a “person of interest” in the case involving Jared and Jacob Burrows, according to a press release from EPPD Detective  Lieutenant Michael David.

The Burrows brothers were each stabbed multiple times following an altercation on Crescent View Avenue just after midnight Sunday.

The wounds suffered by Jared Burrows kept him in the Intensive Care Unit at Rhode Island Hospital for several days. Jacob Burrows wasn’t injured as severely, but still required a hospital stay.

Mr. Williams’ last known address is Providence. He was last seen driving a white Doge Charger with unknown license place.

Police ask anyone with information of the whereabouts of Mr. Williams to call the department at 401-435-7600.
