EAST PROVIDENCE — The drawing for the one-off lottery being conducted by the East Providence Planning Department’s Community Development Division to give away a home in city will take place as part of the City Council meeting Tuesday night, Dec. 18.

The house, located at 78 Anthony St., is valued at $130,000. The single-family home includes: 1,592 sq. ft of living area, 3 bedrooms, 1-and-half baths with laundry area on second floor, eat-in kitchen, full sized dining and living rooms, high efficiency gas heating and windows, with fully insulated walls and ceiling, and a backyard with off street parking.

Anthony Street is a connector road, running between Waterman and Taunton Avenues.

To eligible for the lottery, applicants had to meet the following standards:

• Not own property for the last 6 months
• Have a gross household income up to 80% of median area income based on household size (example: household of 4 maximum income $60,500)
• Have documentation of being pre-qualified for financing for a purchase price of $130,000
• Other conditions and terms apply
