EAST PROVIDENCE — The East Providence Emergency Management Agency issued the following update Thursday night as it continues to prepare for the arrival of expected blizzard-like conditions from Nor’easter Nemo on Friday, Feb. 8.
- Motorists are advised that the afternoon commute will be poor, and should stay off of the roads tomorrow night and early Saturday.
- East Providence Schools are closed Friday, and a parking ban goes into effect at noon on Friday.
- Storm operations will continue as long necessary during the weekend to clear out streets and get back to business as usual.
