Driving bans lifted in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts

PROVIDENCE — The State of Rhode Island has lifted its driving ban as of 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon, Feb. 9, though officials are still asking residents to remain off roads if at all possible.

The ban has also been lifted in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and officials there are asking the same of residents, to stay off roads as plows and utility crews attempt to access downed power lines and restore electricity to residents.
