Bristol’s Marshall wins District 68 seat

By   /   November 6, 2012  /   1 Comment

Kenny Marshall is going to Smith Hill.

The Bristol Democrat, who most recently served as chairman of the Bristol Town Council, handily defeated Republican challenger Michael Donahue for the District 68 seat most recently held by Richard Morrison, a Democrat. Mr. Morrison, a one-term legislator, chose not to run for a second term and Mr. Marshall beat Democrat John Hanley from Warren in September’s primary race.

Mr. Marshall just gave his acceptance speech in Bristol; we’ll have more as it comes in.

I sure hope Mr. Marshall remembers he is representing Bristol AND WARREN. During the candidate forum – he seemed to forget his district covers both towns.
