DEM seeks someone to farm Eight Rod area

TIVERTON — The state Department of Environmental Management is seeking request for proposals from people who would like to farm several parcels of state land. One of the properties available is the 58-acre Eight Rod Farm Management Area in Tiverton. Forms and information are available on DEM’s website under Timely Topics at www.dem.ri.gov. Questions should be directed to Terri Bisson no later than Friday, Jan. 4, at (401) 222-2776, ext. 4402 or via email at terri.bisson@dem.ri.gov.
