Community emergency response course planned

Westport Emergency Management will be holding a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training program in May.

The training helps citizens to be better prepared in the event of a natural or man-made event. More information on CERT training can be found at www.fema.gov

This training will be held at the Westport Fire Department, Station 1, located at 54 HixBridge Road. Training dates will be on the following; Thursdays from 7-9 p.m., May 2, 9, 16, and 23, as well as Saturdays the 4th and the 11th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
