Coast Guard rescues fallen boater in Mt. Hope Bay

A boater reportedly fell off a vessel in Mt. Hope Bay at approximately 10 a.m. Rescue crews from Bristol and Portsmouth, as well as Coast Guard vessels, searched the waters near Hog Island. At 10:30 a.m., a Coast Guard boat reportedly rescued the victim and was transporting the person to Church Street dock in Bristol for medical evaluation.
