Was it an early recruiting trip to Primrose Hill School? Not quite.

Brown University hockey coach Brendan Whittet and three of his players — Matt Wahl from Wellington, Fla., Matt Lorito from Oakville, Ontario, Canada and Garnet Hathaway from Kennebunk, Maine — made a classroom visit at Primrose Hill School recently as part of the district’s Lunch ‘N Learn program.

The kids reportedly loved the visit. The Lunch ‘N Learn program is offered throughout Barrington’s elementary schools; people (including many from the local community) stop by the schools and share information about their jobs or talents with the district’s youngest learners, while the kids eat their lunch.
