In a small, yet symbolic gesture, members of the Bristol Veterans Council took some time on Saturday morning, August 9 to lay a wreath in the Bristol War Memorial garden and on the grounds of the Coast Guard Station to commemorate the end of World War II.

As Richard Enos and Karl Antonevich place the wreath, Steve Skuba played Taps, prompting Jack Barton, Ginny Hanson and her grandchildren, Mia Hanson, 6, and Fletcher Hanson, 8, to stand and salute.
