If you haven’t finished your Christmas shopping by Thursday, Dec. 20, you may want to stop in at the Coffee Depot.

“In the Nick of Time” is a four-hour sale and celebration of Warren’s artists. Dozens of artists form Warren will have their works on display for sale, and there will even be a free show by the Wippets, a well-known band led by artist and sign painter Tony Depoto.

It’s the first year for the sale, a collaboration between the Depot and the Warren Arts Initiative. It’s being organized by the Initiative’s Jill Culoro, Paula Silva and Tamara Kaplan. Mary Jackson is managing it from The Coffee Depot’s end.

“Sixty-eight cents of every dollar spent locally goes back into the local economy,” Ms. Silva said. “At this time of year artists are looking for ways to sell their work. This gives everyone a hand up.”

There promises to be something for just about everyone. So far, dozens of artists have signed on and will be selling everything from ceramics to custom leather work to oil paintings. Here’s a selection of some of the artists signed on so far:

Ceramics by Ellen Blomgren, Adam Ferbert and Jessica Kenyon.

Leather goods by Todd Moen.

Paintings, carvings and more by Tony Depoto.

Maps and notecards by Leigh Medeiros.

Handmade breadboards by Lindsey Silvia.

Paintings by Tom Culoro, Debbie Gonville and Kelly MacDonald. Stained glass by Ed McAloon.

Blown glass by Amber Potter.

Warren musicians like Brown Bird, Joe Fletcher, Paul Rocha, the Wippets and more will have a table set up with their music for sale.

The list of artists will likely grow from this early list. The show runs from 4 to 8 p.m., and the Wippets’ show starts at 7 p.m.
