The Bayside YMCA will close at 2 p.m. on Friday and remain closed on Saturday.
According to an e-mail issued by the Greater Providence YMCA on Thursday afternoon, officials decided to close a number of Rhode Island branches of the YMCA in order “an abundance of caution for our staff and members.”
The e-mail also stated that Bayside YMCA will re-open on Sunday, Feb. 10. For more information, call 245-2444.
