Barrington Veterans’ Day ceremony is Monday

Barrington Town Hall, Barrington, Rhode Island

The Barrington United Veterans’ Council will hold a short ceremony at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 12 at the Veterans Memorial next to town hall.

The veterans will place a wreath at the memorial and dedicate a plaque honoring Vietnam Era veterans.

The principle speaker is Charles Brule, USA, retired, and the invocation will be done by Edmund D’Attelo, VFW Post 9742 chaplain.

There will be coffee and doughnuts available in the side entrance to town hall.

All veterans, especially those of the Vietnam Era, are invited to attend.
