The number of Barrington homes without power was on the rise Monday evening.
As of 6 p.m., sections of Sowams Road, New Meadow Road, Massasoit Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Rumstick Road and Nayatt Road were in the dark.
A large section of West Barrington was also without power, according to a National Grid outage map.
