A Sixth Street resident called Barrington police last week after two antique phonographs allegedly went missing from his home.
The resident called the department on Monday, Feb. 24 and reported the crime. He said each phonograph — it was not clear how old the antiques are — was worth more than $7,000. He said whoever took the phonographs had to move a large dresser in order to access them.
Police have already contacted area pawn shops regarding the items and are pursuing some possible leads in the case.
