Barrington girls’ basketball game moved to 6:30 tonight, March 5

The Division I state semifinal basketball game between Barrington High School and Exeter-West Greenwich has been moved to 6:30 p.m. tonight, March 5. The game will be played at Rhode Island College.

George Finn, the director of athletics and student activities at the high school, sent an e-mail on Tuesday morning stating that the game time was pushed back from 6 to 6:30. It was not clear why the change was made.

The winner of the Barrington vs. Exeter-West Greenwich game will play against the winner of the LaSalle-Westerly game. The finals will be played at URI’s Ryan Center on Sunday at 4 p.m.
