The DPW reminds residents that all lights and decorations must be removed from trees before they are placed curbside.

The Barrington Department of Public Works will begin its Christmas tree collection program on Jan. 7.

The program will continue for three weeks.

Residents placing their trees curbside for pick-up are asked to remove any plastic bags or decorations, including tinsel.

The curbside yard waste pick-up has ended for the year. It will resume in April.

Residents may bring grass and leaves to the yard waste bin at the recycling center Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Sunday between 8 a.m. and noon.
