WESTPORT — Customers and staff at Bittersweet Farm Restaurant had to evacuate for awhile Sunday evening due to a chimney fire. Fire officials say the blaze began at around 6 p.m. (dinner time). Westport crews quickly extinguished the fire but stayed for an hour to make sure there were no flare-ups. The fire did not spread beyond the chimney and there was no structural damage. Bittersweet was back in business that same evening.
