To the editor
Raymond Jourbert’s letter to the editor, Sakonnet Times, February 9, 2012, “Easements benefit the rich, burden others,” takes aim at the wrong group in his effort to be a participant in the emerging class war.
He targets the “rich” landowners as the group that is taking money from the more needy when he should be launching his rockets of distrust and disdain at those who have brought us the repressive, ubiquitous and tyrannous property tax. When that issue is correctly addressed there will be no need for easements or entitlements or class conflict.
