WESTPORT — No snow fell along the coast in south Westport over the weekend but a slushy coating fell a couple of miles north in town Saturday night. At Walter Quinn’s Cherry & Webb Lane station, there was 1.83 inches of rain Saturday and another .46 inches early Sunday. Saturday’s peak gust was 43 m.p.h. from the north-northeast at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday’s peak gust was 40.0 m.p.h. from the north-northwest at 2 a.m.
