LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLA. — The East Providence Jr. Townies split their two outings in the 2011 Division II Jr. Midget national Pop Warner championship tournament at Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
Saturday, Dec. 3, the Jr. Townies fell to the North Raleigh Bulldogs (N.C.), 31-6, in the first round of the 55th annual event, taking place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The Jr. Townies defeated the Cedar Crest Comets of Texas, 27-12, Tuesday, Dec. 6., in a consolation game.
