LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLA — The East Providence Jr. Townies fell to the North Raleigh Bulldogs (N.C.), 31-6, in the first round of Division II Jr. Midget national Pop Warner championship tournament Saturday, Dec. 3.
The 55th annual Pop Warner Super Bowl is taking place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The Jr. Townies next play the Cedar Crest Comets of Texas, 28-6 losers to the Enon (PA) Eagles in their opener, in the consolation round of the event Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 1:15 p.m.
