New to podcasting?

No problem… it's easy!

1. Get podcast software

There are a lot of programs out there on the internets, but we recommend iTunes for both Mac and PC.

2. Subscribe to podcasts

iTunes has a huge offering which you can listen to by simply searching the podcast directory and clicking 'subscribe.'

The easiest way to suscribe to the EastBayRI.com podcast in iTunes is to select ‘Subscribe to Podcast…’ from the ‘Advanced’ menu. Then copy and paste http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/ebn into the dialog box that appears.

Once you're subscribed to a podcast, your iTunes podcast playlist is updated automatically whenever a show's creator posts a new episode.

3. Get an iPod (optional)

You can listen to any podcast straight from your computer, but if you have an iPod (or most any other USB music player) you can easily take updated shows with you even when you're not online. Just plug in your iPod, and set your iTunes 'Preferences' to automatically check for new shows as often as you like.
