The Town of Tiverton is currently seeking applicants from the citizens of Tiverton for consideration of appointment to the following boards on which there is an immediate need to fill vacancies:

Arts Council

Building Code Board of Appeals-Contractor Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee Conservation Commission

Economic Development Committee Harbor and Coastal Waters Management Juvenile Hearing Board Commission

Open Space and Land Preservation Commission Recreation Commission Recycling/Landfill Committee Sakonnet Bridge

Advisory Committee Stone Bridge Committee Tree Commission Waste Water Management

If anyone is interested in serving, an application may be obtained in the Town Clerk’s Office, 343 Highland Road, Tiverton, RI during normal business hours and on the Town Website at www.tiverton.ri.gov.

Applications or resumes must be completed and submitted to the Town Clerk no later than December 15, 2012. Further information about the duties and responsibilities of the boards can be obtained in the Town Clerk’s Office.
