CITY OF EAST PROVIDENCE

CHAPTER

AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 18 OF THE

REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF EAST PROVIDENCE,

RHODE ISLAND, 1998, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED

“VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC”

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PROVIDENCE HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I. Section 18-310 entitled “Same–30 minutes” of Article X entitled “Stopping, Standing and Parking” of Chapter 18 entitled “Vehicles and Traffic” is amended by deleting therefrom the fol- lowing:

Taunton Avenue (south side) from Russell Avenue to Broadway between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. except Sundays and holi- days

SECTION II. Section 18-312 entitled “Same–120 minutes” of Article X entitled “Stopping, Standing and Parking” of Chapter 18 entitled “Vehicles and Traffic” is amended by adding thereto the follow- ing:

Taunton Avenue (south side) from Russell Avenue to Broadway between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. except Sundays and holi- days

SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect upon second passage and all ordi- nances and parts of ordinances inconsis- tent herewith are hereby repealed.

Given first passage and referred to at 7:30 p.m. for a hearing and considera- tion of final passage; and adopted
