PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PERMITTING TO MAINTAIN FLOW WITHIN THE RUNNINS RIVER AND ITS TRIBUTARY

The City of East Providence (City) requests proposals from qualified profes- sional engineering firms (Consultants) with significant experience in the environ- mental permitting process (RIDEM and MADEP) to improve flow within the Runnins River and its tributary as it relates to wetland delineation, debris sur- vey, invasive species survey, debris and sediment removal, invasive species removal/treatment, replanting plan and an access plan to the river to remove debris and other flow impediments in the river.
Bids will be received in the Office of the City Manager, City Hall, Room 102, 145 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914-4505 until November 8, 2012 at 3:00 pm at which time said bids will be publicly opened. Date/time stamps of 3:01 pm or later will be rejected. Mark on the outside bid envelope with the bid number, bid title, and date/time of the bid.
A complete RFP may be obtained at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Room 206, City Hall, East Providence, RI, Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm or downloaded from the City website at www.eastprovidenceri.net under Bid Information.
The City reserves the right to reject any/or all companies and to waive any informality in the responses based on what the City deems to be in its best inter- est.
