Singer and performer David Harrington joins pianist, Diane Gualtieri and percussionist, Karen Mellor for a lively evening of music at Linden Place on Thursday, October 18th@ 7:30PM.

Hear some of your favorites from the American Songbook, as well as some old forgotten gems, in the historic Linden Place Ballroom on Thursday, October 18th at 7:30pm. Singer, David Harrington, known locally for his portrayal of architect, Russell Warren on tours for Linden Place, has decided to dust off the old pipes and sing a few well-known songs from Broadway and Hollywood. Harrington has performed as a featured player in Washington DC’s Maytime Opperetta Company, the Rockville Musical Theater, as well as in the Virgin Island’s Pistarckle Theater.

Joining in the songfest is a Linden Place favorite, Diane Gualtieri. Diane has accompanied singer Michael DiMucci, as well as the Bristol County Chorus. A long time faculty member at St. Mary Academy-Bay View in East Providence, Diane celebrated her 35th anniversary as musical director of Bay View’s acclaimed Manhattan at the Bay Cabaret in 2018.

Filling out the trio is percussionist Karen Mellor, another familiar face to Bristol audiences. She co-founded the band Avenue A with Diane Gualtieri and has served as percussion coach for the Brown University Band since 1987. She is active as a performer of popular, theatrical, and classical music and has served as percussionist for Bay View Academy’s Manhattan at the Bay Cabaret for 35 years. She has also served as concertmaster for the Bristol County Chorus’ Many Moods of Christmas Concert.

Tickets are $20, $15 for Linden Place members and free for Colt Circle members. Reservations are recommended as space is limited.
