Thursday, Jan. 1
Pierre Hercule, 45, of 25 Davis St., was charged with domestic assault, domestic vandalism, domestic disorderly, assault of a police officer and resisting arrest after he allegedly beat up his girlfriend, broke her television sets, and then hid from police in the bedroom when police tried to arrest him. While police were putting him into a car, he allegedly kicked one of the officers.

A Child Street caller told police neighbors started arguments with him while trying to move a friend out of an apartment.

Peter Simas, 22, of Rehoboth, Mass., was arrested under a warrant for driving with a suspended license.
