George Godfrey, 25, of 410 Wood St., was charged with simple assault or battery.

An Anawan Avenue caller reported a man lying on the grass in front of the caller’s house.

A Gooding Avenue caller reported harassing phone calls.

An Ambrose Drive caller reported a suspicious man and woman going door to door. Police reported it was a religious group soliciting.

A caller at the corner of Ferry Road and Griswold Avenue reported two men at a construction entrance at Roger Williams University. The police reported the two men were protesting.

A Broadcommon Road caller reported a suspicious person going through junk vehicles during the night.

A caller from Goetz Custom Sailboats on Broadcommon Road reported metal stolen.

A caller at the corner of Hope and Sampson streets reported a suspicious Jeep in the area.

A caller at the corner of Bray Lane and River Street reported a loud party.

Tuesday, Aug. 26

A Kennedy Court caller reported loud noise.

A caller from Roger Williams University reported a man refusing to show identification.

A Richmond Street caller reported theft from a vehicle.

A Franklin Street caller reported theft.

A State Street caller reported vandalism to window boxes.

An Alma Avenue caller reported a man swearing.

A Wood Street caller reported harassment from a neighbor regarding a parking dispute.

A Second Street caller requested police assistance to remove someone from the area.

Wednesday, Aug. 27

Abigail Brown, 20, of Needham Mass., was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.

A caller from Roger Williams security reported a maintenance truck stolen from the performance arts building. It was found the next day in Pawtucket.

A Sandy Lane caller reported loud music from a neighbor’s home.

A Harrison Street caller reported fireworks in the area.

A State Street caller reported a verbal fight between a schoolbus driver and a motorist.

A Catherine Street caller reported theft from a vehicle.

A caller at the corner of Metacom Avenue and Narrows Road reported a female hitchhiking who was possibly assaulted.

Thursday, Aug. 28

Charles Berger, 21, of Connecticut, was charged with domestic assault and disorderly conduct.

A Metacom Avenue caller from Benny’s Home and Auto Store reported suspicious activity.

Bristol police issued a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) for a red Ford after a female was seen forced into a car. The incident occurred in Fall River.

A Center Street caller reported his vehicle broken into overnight.

A caller at the corner of Metacom and Gooding avenues reported a pickup truck driving dangerously behind them.

Friday, Aug. 29

David Borges, 27, of 22 Mount Hope Ave., was charged with DUI.

Daniel Trant, 19, of Northport, N.Y., was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.

Joshua Batista Cabral, 20, of Taunton, Mass., was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.

A Griswold Avenue caller reported a man sleeping on his lawn.

Saturday, Aug. 30

A Lincoln Avenue caller reported a loud party.

A caller at Sip ‘N Dip Donuts reported a man wearing a Yankees baseball cap harassing customers.
