The annual bazaar season is underway in the East Bay with fall and harvest events featuring crafts, handmade fiber arts, antiques, white elephant items and much more.

Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 14-15
• Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 316 Judson St., Tiverton, holds its Christmas Bazaar & Santa’s Workshop on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The bazaar includes beautiful holiday and handmade items, books and DVDs, themed gift baskets, decorative wreaths, an assortment of raffles and a café serving gourmet food. The bazaar also includes a Santa’s Workshop for kids with crafts and games, digital photos with Santa, face-painting and Santa’s Shop, where kids can buy inexpensive presents for their loved ones. Santa’s Workshop will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to noon Sunday. Purchase tickets to win the raffle grand prize of $2,000 at the bazaar or by calling the rectory at 624-8131. • A fund-raising holiday bazaar at the Portsmouth Multi-Purpose Senior Center, 110 Bristol Ferry Road, Portsmouth, is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. There will be knitted and crocheted items, plus other domestic items, homemade baked goods, gift ideas table, Christmas crafts and items, jewelry winner every time table, book sale, grocery basket raffle and other raffles. There is a big raffle drawing (six tickets for $5 or $1 each) with prizes of $500, $200 and three $100. For tickets, call Cynthia at 683-4106. The kitchen will be open and the thrift shop is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• The Anasazi Group will hold a holiday craft and food sale in the Gibbs House at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 324 East Main Road, Portsmouth, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and during church service hours on Sunday. The annual Holiday Fair at the Westport Senior Center, 75 Reed Road, is from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day. There will be knitted goods, quilted items and a specialty table-holiday baskets. The bake sale is on Wednesday. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Westport Council on Aging.
Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20-21
Emmanuel Church, Corner of Spring and Dearborn streets, Newport, will hold its Holiday Fair Fundraiser and Silent Auction from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds from this event and the silent auction help provide funding for the various ministries within the church as well as interdenominational projects within the Aquidneck Island community. On Friday from 4-8 p.m. there will be an eat-in or takeout Lasagna Dinner ($10 for adults, $5 for children, $15 for family). The string trio, La Bella Musica, will perform from 6-8 p.m. and the evening will also feature the silent auction, craft vendors and bake sale. The residents of Kimwell Rehabilitation and Healthcare Facility, 495 New Boston Road, Fall River, hosts their annual Christmas Bazaar from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. both days. There will be craft tables, a bake sale, raffles, candy and more. The lunch menu will include chow mein sandwiches, meatball subs, chourico sandwiches, Italian sausage subs and grinders, Coney Island hot dogs, kale soup, clam chowder and beverages.
