A fall genealogy workshop for beginners will be taught by Lynda Rego, who writes a genealogy column, “Climbing the Family Tree,” for East Bay Newspapers. Digging up family roots has become one of the most popular hobbies in the country and an addictive pastime. Topics to be covered in the search for your ancestors include forms, computer programs, archival materials, libraries, museums and historical societies, books and magazines, DNA research and more.
