Long-time musician Adrian “Rockin’ Ron” Medeiros and his eight-member pop-rock band, Adrian Zoo, will be having a CD-release party celebrating their new music at 6 p.m. Monday, July 13, at the Kinsmen Tavern on State Street. The band has three other Bristol residents, Joe Scolaro, Kelly Botelho and Billy Donahue. One of Mr. Medeiros’ first bands, Tangerine Zoo, was an opening act for Jimi Hendrix, The Rascals, The Yardbirds, Deep Purple, Iron Butterfly and others. Adrian Zoo also will be playing at the VFW Post, Cup Defenders and the Common Pub later this summer and fall.
