    1. Halloween Bash for Wild Critters @ Jacky’s Galaxie
      6:00 pm – 1:00 am

      Wildlife Rehabilitators Association of Rhode Island (WRARI) hosts the ninth annual Halloween Wildstock Benefit Concert featuring entertainment by Rendition, Trinity, Band of Brothers, Liquid Fix and Crushed Velvet. Admission includes a buffet provided by Jacky’s Galaxie, a chance at a door prize and a large raffle of items and gift certificates. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit WRARI and the Wildlife Clinic of Rhode Island. Costumes are optional.

    2. Lenny Solomon Band in Concert @ Sandywoods Center for the Arts
      7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

      Singer-songwriter Lenny Solomon’s style has been compared to early Bob Dylan, Guy Clark and Jerry Jeff Walker. Also performing will be Paul Rishell, a master of the country blues and the steel guitar, and Annie Raines, an ace blues harmonica blower.     3. Atwater-Donnelly Trio in Concert @ Stone Church Coffee House at The First Congregational Church
      7:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      The highly acclaimed trio will play traditional American and Celtic folk songs, a capella pieces, old-time gospel songs, dance tunes and original works. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.

    4. Benefit Concert for Church Street Coffeehouse @ The Church Street Coffeehouse at the First United Methodist Church
      8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

      Jan Luby hosts this lineup that also includes Michael Troy, Mary Ann Rossoni and Kate Katzberg. All proceeds benefit the Church Street Coffeehouse. Refreshments are available for purchase.

      Join the American Cancer Society’s Bark For Life of Aquidneck Island to honor the caregiving qualities of our canine friends while we raise funds for our lifesaving mission. Proceeds benefit the Aquidneck Island Relay For Life.

      Advance registration is $10.00 per dog($20 the day of the event) The walk is on a beautiful 3 mile train, the Sakonnet Greenway Trail.   The entrance is on East Main Road, near the Polo Fields in Portsmouth.

      Come enjoy a costume contest for your dog and kids, as well as games and activities! We’ll have pet photos too!

      Spooky Spectacular Party
      Warren Recreation along with Main Street businesses will be celebrating Trick or Treat on Main Street and a free Spooky Spectacular Halloween Party on Sunday October 28th starting at 1pm. Children of all ages are invited and encouraged to dress up and take part in the 1st Annual Trick or Treat on Main Street, Warren. Local businesses up and down Main Street will be handing out special treats and candy from 1-3pm. Then head over to the Mary V. Quirk School Building located at 790 South Main Street in Warren where the annual Warren Recreation Halloween Party starts at 2pm. This year” Carnival Party, LLC” presents Haunted Mini-Golf along with Music Mayhem with Diabolical DJ Brad Boudreau. Families and children are invited to come in costume and participate in a safe and fun afternoon of monster music and macabre mini golf. Dress in your cutest, creepiest and most imaginative costume.       Join Bill Geasy, a financial services professional, for a free presentation on how to save money for college. Designed for parents of children ages 4 to 14, the talk will cover a wide range of topics, including: how to make a college game plan, how colleges look at your finances, how to position yourself in the best light possible, why saving for retirement and saving for college are not either/or choices, how you can be a recipient of financial aid, and how to avoid the counterproductive effect of college debt.
