      Spooky Spectacular Party
      Warren Recreation along with Main Street businesses will be celebrating Trick or Treat on Main Street and a free Spooky Spectacular Halloween Party on Sunday October 28th starting at 1pm. Children of all ages are invited and encouraged to dress up and take part in the 1st Annual Trick or Treat on Main Street, Warren. Local businesses up and down Main Street will be handing out special treats and candy from 1-3pm. Then head over to the Mary V. Quirk School Building located at 790 South Main Street in Warren where the annual Warren Recreation Halloween Party starts at 2pm. This year” Carnival Party, LLC” presents Haunted Mini-Golf along with Music Mayhem with Diabolical DJ Brad Boudreau. Families and children are invited to come in costume and participate in a safe and fun afternoon of monster music and macabre mini golf. Dress in your cutest, creepiest and most imaginative costume.     3. Saving Money for College @ Barrington Public Library
      2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

      Join Bill Geasy, a financial services professional, for a free presentation on how to save money for college. Designed for parents of children ages 4 to 14, the talk will cover a wide range of topics, including: how to make a college game plan, how colleges look at your finances, how to position yourself in the best light possible, why saving for retirement and saving for college are not either/or choices, how you can be a recipient of financial aid, and how to avoid the counterproductive effect of college debt. No registration required.

    4. “Happy 150th, Monsieur Debussy” @ Roger Williams Performing Arts Center
      2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      Roger Williams University faculty member Nancy Nicholson and friends will present a concert to celebrate the 150th birthday of the French Impressionist composer. The piano/voice/clarinet trio will perform Debussy piano solos, songs for voice and the jazzy “Première Rhapsodie” for clarinet.

    3. Haunted House @ Mt. Hope High School
      5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Mt. Hope Masqueraders host their sixth annual haunted house. Visit a family as you travel through their garage, kitchen, attic, backyard and more. The “not scary” tour let’s you see the creepy occupants at their friendliest. Before the tour, enjoy assorted food and beverages, face-painting, a fortune teller, face-painting and games like Monster Golf and Graveyard Walk. All proceeds go toward the Mt. Hope Masqueraders.

    4. Mt. Hope Masqueraders Annual Haunted House @ Mt Hope Masqueraders Annual Haunted House
      5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Mt. Hope Masqueraders Annual Haunted House  is on October 29 and 30th with tours running from 5:30 pm to 8:30pm. It is located at Mt. Hope High School Performing

      Arts Center on Chestunut Street in Bristol, RI.  The entry fee is $5.00 per person which includes the tour and 2 game tickets.  You can choose between a scary and not so scary tour and play

      games to win candy and prizes, have your face painted, or have your fortune told.  Fun for everyone.   Additional tickets for games and a raffle basket will be sold so plan on joining the

      Masqueraders for an evening of fun.  The proceeds go towards the fall production of the play,  Fahrenheit 451 in November. For more information on the theatre department go to

    5. Hunter’s Moon Walk @ Turner Loop Trail parking area
      6:15 pm – 8:15 pm

      Join the East Providence Land Conservation Trust and the Ten Mile River Watershed Council for walk into Bridgham Farm, visiting the Ten Mile River, Turner Reservoir and the Newman Oak, which is said to be over 300 years old.
