    1. “Happy 150th, Monsieur Debussy” @ Roger Williams Performing Arts Center
      2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      Roger Williams University faculty member Nancy Nicholson and friends will present a concert to celebrate the 150th birthday of the French Impressionist composer. The piano/voice/clarinet trio will perform Debussy piano solos, songs for voice and the jazzy “Première Rhapsodie” for clarinet.

    3. Haunted House @ Mt. Hope High School
      5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Mt. Hope Masqueraders host their sixth annual haunted house. Visit a family as you travel through their garage, kitchen, attic, backyard and more. The “not scary” tour let’s you see the creepy occupants at their friendliest. Before the tour, enjoy assorted food and beverages, face-painting, a fortune teller, face-painting and games like Monster Golf and Graveyard Walk. All proceeds go toward the Mt. Hope Masqueraders.

    5. Hunter’s Moon Walk @ Turner Loop Trail parking area
      6:15 pm – 8:15 pm

      Join the East Providence Land Conservation Trust and the Ten Mile River Watershed Council for walk into Bridgham Farm, visiting the Ten Mile River, Turner Reservoir and the Newman Oak, which is said to be over 300 years old.

    6. Barrington Veterinary Clinic’s First Annual Pet Costume Party- CANCELLED @ Barrington Veterinary Clinic
      6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      This year the Barrington Veterinary Clinic is planning a Halloween Party for your pets!  This FREE event will be starting at 6:30pm, stop by with your ghosts and goblins and have a good time.  There will be treat bags handed out to your children and  for your pooch or kitty as well.  We will be having a Pet Psychic Free of charge (please call to set up a time, space is limited) Dress up your pet in their best costume and get a professional portraits done of them alone or other family members!   Professional Photographer Victoria Arocho will be photographing your pet   www.victoriaarocho.com.  Cost of the session is $30 and she will be donating 10% percentage of the proceeds  to one of our lucky shelters.  Please call to reserve your session with the photographer.  We hope that you all can join us for this event, it should be a spook-tacular time!  Date subject to change so please Call 245-9226 for more details, visit us on the web at www.barringtonvet.com  or our Facebook page for updates on this event !

    2. Panel Discussion: How the Media Impacts the Election @ Roger Williams Unviersity
      6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      The Roger Williams University HawkTheVote Journalism Media Lab will host local members of the press — including East Bay Newspapers’ General Manager Scott Pickering — in a panel discussion of the impact of news coverage on the electoral process on Tuesday, October 30 at 6 p.m. at Roger Williams University.

      Panelists will include Scott Pickering, general manager of East Bay Newspapers; Dee DeQuattro, political commentator on WPRO News Talk Radio; Bill Rupp, local editor of Barrington Patch; and Marilyn Schairer, general assignment reporter for WPRI-TV and RWU adjunct professor. RWU Assistant Journalism Professor Michael Scully will moderate the discussion.

      The event is open to the public and will be held at 6 p.m. in Global Heritage Hall G01 on the University’s Bristol campus at One Old Ferry Road. No tickets or reservations are required.
