Community Garden Benefit Dinner @ Sandywoods Center for the Arts
The Parenting Support Group will meet on Sunday December 16 at 6 PM in the Tildsley Building, St. Michael’s Church, 399 Hope Street, Bristol. Raising children is challenging and rewarding and the most important job that many of us do. In this time of the internet, school demands, peer pressure and often conflicting advice from “experts”, parents can find themselves confused, frustrated and alone. This is an opportunity to meet with other parents and a trained mental health professional to sort out some of these issues in a confidential setting. All parents are welcome, single and partnered, traditional and non traditional and parents in blended family situations. There is no charge but participants are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item or personal care products for the Bristol Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen. Childcare is available but those planning to bring children must notify Jennifer DeWolf (401-935-3359 or jenmarkdewolf@aol.com) by the Friday before the meeting (Dec. 14) to let us know how many children will attend and their ages.
